I think mostly is the humidity...I always think autumn is good for painting models, 2000 sandpaper work in water, still have to spray the gloss coating. Color Base 2 layers, Gloss Coating should likely be 2-4 layers... -

It depends, see whether you have a thick coating or not, using 2000 sandpaper for everywhere is a must to smooth it out, and then you can rubbing compound to make the Gloss Effect. Watch out for the drying time....don't rush....hehe....慢工出細貨....that's what they said.....hehe... -

Nice to meet someone backin Canada, The Gloss Paint shoud take at least 3-4 days to archieve a complete drying, I think you are having your heater powered up now, since it should be snowing there, you can try to put your model on the heater with a frame(if you have one) to shorten the drying time...Cheers... -

LED Flashing is easy and cheap to get in china (especailly Shenzhen)....those blinking Blue and Red LED can be purchased in "華強" ...got SMD blue/red Blinking LED 1206 size only cost around $2...Price is not a big deal....but you gotta control the current down to 20mA....... -
